In January, 2016 a Federal state of emergency was declared because of the lead water crisis in Flint, Michigan. The state of emergency expired in August, but little has changed in the city. The Great Lakes Bureau at Detroit Public Television takes a look back at the major events of the last year, and at what might lay ahead for the beleaguered citizens of Flint.
