Twenty three million gallons of oil and natural gas surge through a sixty-one year old underwater pipeline below the Mackinac Bridge. The National Wildlife Federation commissioned a U of M study that says this would be the worst place in the Midwest for an oil spill because the current is strong and reverses itself every few days.
